Is Talitha Cumi Aramaic? Wasn't Jesus, King of the Jews written in Aramaic as
well?
No, in "Hebrew, Latin and Greek", John 19:20. The first word is
hEBRAISTI which can only mean "in Hebrew". Some translators have
attempted to reinterpret this as "in Aramaic", but that is not the
meaning of hEBRAISTI. Similarly the apostle Paul spoke in Hebrew, THi
hEBRAIDI DIALEKTWi, Acts 21:40, 22:2.
