Thank you for your answer. But my question was not to decide between
Jonathan or Saul's servants.

My question is: Why not refer the infinitive to Saul? (That is the way many
German Translations take it.) The New Jerusalem Bible translates this sense
freely: "Saul let his son Jonathan and all his servants know of his
intention to kill David."
