Four examples of YHWH with an inseparable preposition are listed below.
In each example the yod has lost it's shewa.
In each example the inseparable preposition has a patah not a hireq under
it.
Did the Masoretes place a patah under the inseparable preposition to
indicate that before the inseparable preposition was added, YHWH was to
be pronounced as "Adonay"?

At Genesis 15:6 B.AYHWFH
The Beth has a Dagesh Lene
The Beth has a patah under it

At Isaiah 26:4 ?BAYHWFH
The Beth has no Dagesh Lene
The Beth has a patah under it

At Jeremiah 3:23 B.AYHOWFH
The Beth has a Dagesh Lene
The Beth has a patah under it

At Jeremiah 4:4 LAYHOWFH
The Lamedh has a patah under it

Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 7 beta 2 (IE7) and has not made
IE7 available on the Windows 2000 operating system. Consequently. I'm
unable to determine if the Unicode/XML Westminster Leningrad Codex site at

http://www.cvkimball.com/Tanach/Tanach.xml

operates correctly with this new Microsoft browser. Please contact me
off-list if you've tried the site with IE7 and are willing to describe
your experiences.

The site will not be fully supported on IE7 until after the release of
the Microsoft Vista operating system in 2007. Support for the
standards-compliant (and recommended) Mozilla Firefox browser is assured.
