I have been reading several papers regarding the "appointed times" and
calendar issues and cannot tell if a certain conclusion regarding
several verses in Genesis 1 (verses 5, 8, 13 ...) holds up to scrutiny.
KJV Genesis 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called
Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Could this verse possibly be translated as:
Genesis 1:5 "And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called
Night. And the evening and the morning FOLLOWED the first day"?
Thanks from a Hebrew novice in advance.
Blessings,
Al Cantley
