One thing you'll want to think about is whether you want to define your
corpus in terms of dialect/period/etc. or simply take all BH as your
field of study. I'm thinking particularly of the strategy to begin by
analyzing linguistic features within what is commonly accepted as
Classical Biblical Hebrew Prose, then if space permits to broaden your
investigation to other parts of the biblical corpus. Some of this
depends on your view of the shape of BH. If you accept that much of BH
has a common linguistic character, with later material striving to
achieve the same character but failing in the task to varying degrees,
it makes sense to begin by looking at the standard.
