Looking quickly at W. Hallo and L Younger, Context of Scripture 2 (Brill) see
255 (Simurrum), 259 (Shanshi-Adad), 273 (Maras), 275 (Saba'a), etc. in that
source.

I am looking for ANE references to language like that of Darius in Ezra 6.
Darius issues a decree that anyone who changes the text of his edict will
have their house pulled down, and they will be impaled upon a beam of the
house. He also invokes god's wrath on anyone who changes the text. Now, I
know I've read Hittite and Egyptian examples of this, invoking a curse on
anyone who changes the text, perhaps in Pritchard, but I can't find any
right now. Does anyone have any examples, with the citations?
Thanks much, Ben Spackman
