Eissfeldt also did an actual
Hexateuch-Synopse : die Erzählung der fünf Bücher Mose und des Buches Josua
mit dem Anfange des Richterbuches / in ihre vier Quellen zerlegt undin
deutscher Übersetz. dargeboten samt einer in Einleitung und Anmerkungen
gegebenen Begründung von Otto Eissfeldt. - Leipzig, 1922

Some have said that nobody ever disproved his own theory more thoroughly,
'cause when you lay the assumed sources out in columnar format, you end up
with four illegible stories rather than one that actually makes sense. I'm
not saying I necessarily agree. And it's a useful book either way :-)
