Peter,
You are right. Don't know what I was thinking about when I wrote that.
Punchy, as usual. The milk can approach is actually inductive. The only text
he had available for 18 months was food labels and he collected them and
studied them at length so there was some analysis, however no one gave him a
grammar to use. He had no paradigms to use and no lexicon.
