dear friends,

i still find it mind-boggling that hebrew has no metre. in this regard,
has anyone seen a review of D Vance's dissertation-turned-monograph on
(the lack of) hebrew metre?

so here's a question. In the psalm in Jonah 2, i see 75 prosodic words,
15 lines, for exactly 5 words per line. there's a 5-5-5 final triplet,
otherwise 5-5 lines, and one 6-4 line (v.4, some sort of enjambement?). am
i missing something........???

Look for massive consolidation and brutal job cuts ahead.
It won't be pretty.
