This may be quite right, nevertheless this is the meaning of
'MWCC)' in the qere of 2 Kings 10,27. The verb itself, JC(,
can among an overwhelmingly large number of instances be
found the verse before, 2 Kings 10,26 and, of course, Gen
1:12, both in the hiphil. Lew Osborne's idea of its relating
to "to many women over a long period of time giving birth
[...]" therefore seems unnecessary.
I would suggest that something similar to the verb PR$ is
going on here.
