I'm forwarding this query from the Ioudaios list, with the author's
permission:
"Does anyone know of a place in the DSS or MH where Lo) occurs with the
imperfect? Does it carry the same emphatic tone as Gesenius observes in
Biblical Hebrew (sec. 107 o)?"
I did a quick search of the DSS and got the impression that the only
second-person imperfects preceded by L) acting as prohibitions were
biblical quotes. Can anyone with the Accordance database confirm this
for the DSS? What about for Mishnaic Hebrew?
