Thanks that's interesting. What then would be the
singular of this verse? What would the Hebrew read for
'Hear Oh Israel the LORD our God (singular) is one'
Is there such a rendering possible?
I agree with "is [all of] our gods " if you mean to
imply that He is all sufficient, needing no other
representatives except the LORD.
