OK, "egg" is biblical, but in the form "baitzah". The only attested forms
are the plural B."YCIYM and derivatives. BDB supposes a singular form
B."YCFH, presumably from the later Hebrew, and I suppose justifying the
feminine form from the feminine plural agreement in Is 10:14.
