I didn't understand your comment that something other than
plural of majesty is happening with adonim.
You should also include be`alim in your study 'owner'.
The idiom is still used today: habe`alim = the owner.

This discusses the biblical plurals and proceeds into
mishnaic Hebrew as a background to understand Luke
and/or his sources.
