B-Haverim:
In Judges 11:36, Jephthah's daughter tells him to do according to what
came out of his mouth and then adds:
'acHeReY 'ASheR 'aSaH LeKa YHWH....
I'm puzzled about the words 'acHeReY 'ASheR, which my lack of Hebrew
skills reads as "after which," but which translators seem to render
"since." If someone on the list could explain this idiom, I'd greatly
appreciate it!
Thanks!
John
