Dear Jason,

I have a fresh translation of the Moabite Stone by Dr. James J. S. Johnson,
who teaches at LeTourneau University. He renders line three of the stone as:

-TY )XR )BY W)(& HBMT Z)T LKM$ BQRXH BM[$] M$(

He translated:

(reign)ed after my father. And I made this high place to Chemosh in QRXh
(Qir-Xh/ Baldsite?) [. . . .] in delivering Me(sha),

In one rendering of the line he does not include the word "delivering"; so
he may have doubt about it.

For further information, you might contact Dr. Johnson at:

FAX: metro 817-430-9306

Yours,
Harold
