Note what the rakia does. It divides a water
mass into two oceans--celestial and terrestial.
No science here.

Science relates to what is observable, proveable and repeatable.
But a great deal of celestial water is scientifically supported, certainly,
given the greenhouse Adam seemed to live in, the flood, and our current
susceptibility to skin cancer (as frequent as all other cancers combined).
And of course it could have just referred to a thick cloud layer present at
that time.
