Shalom!
I have some questions about on Psalm 46:10. The original Hebrew text has the
word HRPW (He,Resh,Pe,Waw) which is translated as "be still" in the KJV, but
Strong replaces it by raphah, RPH (Resh,Pe,He). My questions are:
1) Why does Strong replace the original word (HRPW)?
2) Do both words (HRPW and RPH) have the same meaning?
3) Do you agree "be still" it's a good translation? Why yes or not?
Thanks in advance for your answers,
Fernando.

Ans: what/who is Strong? Does he rewrite Hebrew texts?

Of course not. =
People replace words like HRPU with RPH for one of two reasons:
a. they know so little Hebrew they think that roots are words that get
conjugated.
b. they know so much Hebrew that they are not concerned about the meaning=
of words anymore and talk about histories and relationships of words arou=
nd
roots.

It's more like 'let up, drop what you're doing!' =
(pero yo no se quel es la misma idioma en espanol.)
