Hello, all --

I just wanted to announce that Nota Bene has finally released the full version of their Lingua Workstation 5.1 for Windows, which allows one to use Greek, Hebrew, IPA, and English together in one text (including right-to-left typing and word wrapping of Hebrew).  I have been using NB since its inception and highly recommend it.  Their web site is www.notabene.com.  (I don't work for NB, by the way.)

Here is more information:

Word Processing (Nota Bene):

NOTA BENE is a high-end word processor.  All text retrieval,
organizational and bibliographic tools that are a part of the package
feed directly into it.  Nota Bene accommodates up to three different
sets of footnotes or endnotes, bidirectional cross referencing that
updates in real time, unparalleled search and replace functionality,
multi-file manuscript editing and printing, and conversion utilities
for sharing work with people who use other word processing formats.

Bibliographic Management (Ibidem):

A superior bibliographic manager, Ibidem keeps track of and organizes
all your bibliographic material throughout your entire career.
Formatting of footnotes, endnotes, short form in-text citations,
reference lists and bibliographies are handled dynamically, as you
write.  Hundreds of predefined professional and academic styles for
automatically formatting papers.

Customizable Database System (IBID. PLUS):

Ibid. Plus is a customizable version of Ibidem.  Sample databases are
included for address books and fieldnotes, and it's easy to create
custom databases for a wide variety of personal, business, and
academic requirements.  Features and speed are what you might expect
from an expensive standalone DBMS.

Text Retrieval and Freeform Database (Orbis):

Everything you (or your colleagues) have ever written is instantly
accessible!  Tell Orbis what files to include in your textbase, and
it keeps track of every word.  Use Orbis to search thousands of files
for ideas from lectures, lab reports, interviews, fieldnotes, files
downloaded from the Internet, and random jottings.

Multilingual Tools (Lingua):

Lingua adds multilingual functionality in Hebrew, Greek, Cyrillic,
IPA, and other specialized character sets. Enter Hebrew from right to
left, switch languages with keystroke ease, type with a foreign
keyboard layout, stack multiple diacritics above or below any
character in any combination.   Lingua provides greater
sophistication in these languages than you will find in any other
word processor, even if enabled with Unicode.

All the best --
