Dear Kimmo,
I am not sure that we have to determine precisely what BYT refers to
in Num 12:7. God is using the analogy of a servant in a human house. God
can trust Moses in every area of His "house," because Moses is a
trustworthy servant. House would represent God's domain, His possessions.
The NT uses the imagery in the same way at Heb 3:1-6, except that there
"house" may refer to the world, with Christ as its builder (3:3). Hebrews
3:6 says that we are His house, if the boldness and confidence of our hope
we hold fast. Another option would be the house of Israel (Exod 16:31).
While God speaks of His house (sanctuary) early (Exod 23:19; 34:26), I do
not see the word used for the tabernacle.

Sincerely,
Harold Holmyard
