Let's leave these vacuous terms alone and stick to the process of
historical reconstruction. Phenomonology is dependent on historical
reconstruction to say what the phenomena were that one want to study.

This may be -- partially --, but without any criteria to order the
information in a historical space and give value and priority to it there
can be no notion of past for the above definition.
