Michael Fishbane refers to OT "typologies of an historical nature," as a kind
of
inner-biblical interpretation (Biblical Interpretation in Ancient Israel
[Oxford: The
Clarendon Press, 1985], 358-68). You might want to write to him concerning
his
mistaken terminology.
I dare not ask why "intertestamental" doesn't qualify as "inner biblical."
