this is stuff out of the imagination, enshrined in good 60's head shops
(from aquarian gospel).

BUT something similar did happen in the ancient world.
good old apollonius of tyana, philosophized, pythagorized, and visited
india and the brahmans. all dutifully recorded by filostratus (available in
2 loeb books). he became a model of a pagan cult figure and eusebius wrote
a treatise on apollonius' faults.

as for 20th century, it looks like someone heard of apollonius and rewrote
yeshua/jesus accordingly.

since yeshua represents is first century hebrew i would think that this
stretches beyond the domain for b-hebrew.
