Dear Ian,
Thank you for sending this material explaining the status quo, which
is more detailed than anything immediately available to me here.
If you read the first paragraph of Rohl's Appendix E on Assyrian
Chronology, you will discover that he freely admits that there are
unsolved difficulties with his scheme in this direction. No doubt he
did know what he was doing. But he can hardly be accused of being a
fraud.

Dear Peter,
As you won't go to the status quo, which should have been your, and Dave's,
first port of call, I'll try and bring it to you. Below are merely excerpts
from status quo books.

There are so many mistakes in Rohl's claims, as illustrated in this table
produced from the quotes above, that he must have known what he was doing.
So he must be a fraud.
