these are hard to come by because the "guild" tends to group everything by
root rather than word.
you will find useful works by George Landes and Larry Mitchell (both are
potentially misleading for beginning students). and both group by root
frequency rather than real word frequency.
a useful student list with a practical application of the frequency
principle is armstrong, busby, carr, reader's H-E lexicon, zondervan.
they have an appendix with the most common 1000 roots/words [50xx+] and
then list all other words/roots, verse by verse thruout the bible. students
immediately see if a root/word in is first 1000 or not.
