Dear listers,
I sent the following to the list over the weekend for an internet friend,
but I didn't get any ideas. I thought I might try again in the hope of
getting some response for my friend. Thanks.
--------------------------------------
A friend of mine has just asked me about the spellling in the subject line,
ZKWR spelled Z'KWR, which he mentions as a possible variant spelling of the
word at the beginning of the commandment "Remember the Sabbath..." Though
he can't think of any reason why the aleph would be added as a mater
lectionis, he though that perhaps you folks who are better versed might
have more information on the possibility.
Thanks for any indications.
Ian
