cupbearer, is at first encouraged that he will also be restored like
the cupbearer to whom the same words had been addressed. See v.16a:
the baker knew how Joseph had encouraged the cupbearer and hoped for
the same for himself. But then comes the sting: the lifting of his
head will be literal.
Can anyone give a source listing (and/or discussing if possible) wordplays
in the Hebrew Bible? Just love this stuff.
