For some reason my message below (with the book we will use) did not make
it through to the UNCLUG list. I blame Microsoft....

More follow-up about RHCSA/RHCE and/or RHEL 7 study group!

One bit of administrivia: after the first meeting, I will stop posting to
CTC. I'm also sending this to two linux-specific, ibiblio-hosted, and
campus-relevant mailing lists. If you can't manage to get yourself on one
of those lists, please talk to me.

When: Still Tuesday the 31st of May at 30 minutes after noon.

Okay linuxy folks (and would-be linuxy folks)!

Please fill out the doodle poll so we can pick a time for a first meeting.
Time with the most votes wins!

Doodle: RHEL 7 study group <http://doodle.com/poll/iz3xem7nwzvrb4ts>
Doodle radically simplifies the process of scheduling events, meetings,
appointments, etc. Herding cats gets 2x faster with Doodle. For free!

The plan would be to meet approximately weekly over the course of the
Summer to work through (a) book(s) on RHEL 7, CentOS 7, and related
administration tasks, so choose based on what you think you'd be most
likely to do /every/ week, not just the week in the poll. Consider this a
mix between professional development and skills sharing, so if you need to
get approval from your manager, that's your pitch: I'll be a better
admin/dev because I will have a better grasp of the OS I'm using on our
servers. Oh, and you don't have to pay for a training course -- just buy
(a) book(s).

Meeting location TBD.

Ping me if you have questions concerns.
