Not completely sure I should add this in this bugreport as I usually update
from the test grimoire; but the problem seems related. Futhermore not trying to
flood the bugzilla with sort of duplicate bugs.
It seems that for mplayerplug-in-3.55 for firefox; which automatically gives a
dependency to xulrunner; the depencies are not complete. Or it could give some
problems when updating just firefox and mplayerplug-in.
It took me some time to understand why mplayerplug-in kept on insisting that
the gecko-sdk or xulrunner.pkg were not installed; because they were. So I
tried
>$ pkg-config libxul --libs
which gave me
------
Package nspr was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `nspr.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
Package 'nspr', required by 'libxul', not found
------
This hinted me that probably I had to cast nspr and things could be well again.
After that I've casted nspr; mplayerplug-in casted fine.
So perhaps nspr needs to be added to the DEPENDS.
More in general: It looks to me that the GECKO structure is changing; a sdk
(standard development kit) akin to java etc..
