--- Comment #3 from Eric Sandall <sandalle at sourcemage.org>  2009-04-19 13:37:54 ---
Fails on four of my machines, three x86 and one x86_64, all but one on test
grimoire, the other is on devel-xorg-modular.

# gaze version patch bzip2
Grimoire Section Spell Grimoire Version Installed Version
--------  -------  -----  ----------------  -----------------
test      devel    patch  2.5.9             2.5.9
test      archive  bzip2  1.0.5             1.0.5

$ file audio-players/cdparanoia/gcc43-private.patch.bz2
gcc43-private.patch.bz2: bzip2 compressed data, block size = 900k

Other patches apply fine.

If I apply the patch manually, it works:
$ tar xf /var/spool/sorcery/cdparanoia-III-10.2.src.tgz
$ cd cdparanoia-III-10.2
$ bzcat ../gcc43-private.patch.bz2 | patch -p3
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/test_interface.c
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/cdda_interface.h
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/interface.c
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/scsi_interface.c
Hunk #39 succeeded at 1626 (offset 4 lines).
Hunk #41 succeeded at 1743 (offset 17 lines).
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/cooked_interface.c
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/scan_devices.c

Also trying it the way cdparanoia/PRE_BUILD does it:
$ bunzip2 -c ../gcc43-private.patch.bz2 | patch -p3 -d /tmp/cdparanoia-III-10.2
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/test_interface.c
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/cdda_interface.h
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/interface.c
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/scsi_interface.c
Hunk #39 succeeded at 1626 (offset 4 lines).
Hunk #41 succeeded at 1743 (offset 17 lines).
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/cooked_interface.c
(Stripping trailing CRs from patch.)
patching file interface/scan_devices.c

So Sorcery is doing something funky?
