No, a mount -a -t doesn't fail if no such filesystem type is found.

Conclusion of that bug is not favorable to moving grep into /bin.

get_pids() is so far not called from anywhere that a failure will cause the
whole init script to die.

Yeah, as long as care was taken to make the exit of the if not be the exit of
the whole script it wouldn't kill the boot I guess.  It still needs to have a
solution that doesn't rely on grep.
