A summary of the differences between the 2 kills:

util-linux kill has:
-p option to print pid only,
-a option to (attempt to) signal to other users' processes,
A decent man page.

coreutils kill has:
long options,
-t providing similar info to -l (exact difference unknown),
A badly written info page (rambling text instead of concise usage data),
The info page does provide a list of signals & what they do, but this
information is available in signal(7) anyway.

On the whole I'd much prefer the kill from util-linux, and recomend this to be
the only option.

Patch to follow.
