[Poly-p-ux] I'm writing you a package manager

Actually, looking at these scripts, it looks like rewriting this stuff in C
will add nothing but bloat.  I may patch these scripts or consolidate them,
but the motivation needs to be there.  We'll see what happens in the coming
weeks.
