[nafex] Beach Plums

There are plenty of beach plums all over Cape Cod - I picked a bunch by the
road in Truro last summer and they're up here on Plum Island, too. Now that
I'm in Boston, I have lots more to explore - picked blueberries on the Cape
last year, too, but none in Acadia, Maine because their were no bees to
pollinate them last year.

Lucky, I'd gladly send you some.

Subject: [nafex] Beach Plums

Beach plum jam used to be our standard gift to friends after we visited Cape
Cod. Sadly, there don't seem to be enough beach plums available to make the
jam anymore.
I tried planting beach plums in West Chester PA a few years ago, but all the
seedlings that I bought died.
