Donna,

That's true.  Some years the fruit is pretty good.  Last year the quality was poor.  

I have a young tree that is from Russia, I believe.  Hope to get the first fruit this year.

  According to Chris Inhulsen, the consensus among SE pomegranate growers is, "Wonderful isn't."  Though it is very good in CA.  He has some from eastern Europe, you could probably get them to save you some seeds.   Donna
