[NAFEX] Apple juice? Apple cider?

Cider is fermented and thus is an alcoolic drink everywhere in the world
except in USA! This discrepency dates back from Prohibition times - the
reason being that those that made cider (fermented) before prohibition had
to make a a cider without alcool under prohibition. And the cider name
stayed after prohibition for an unfermented apple juice.

Note that the more it goes, as there are more and more hard cider makers in
USA, the word cider will probably regain its original meaning in the near
or far future...

Claude, in Quebec, where cider is always fermented, and usually delicious
(at east the one I make...)

This is probably a very basic question, but what is the difference between
apple juice and apple cider?
