Their site doesnt list any plants. And wouldnt it be a little late to
buy at this point if they only ship until early March? (not trying to be
difficult or anything)
. I will be requesting a catalog for next year,
www.eat-it.com <http://www.eat-it.com/> has potted persimmons (both
Astringent and non-astringent) and since theyre potted (the persimmons, not
the nursery employees) they can ship whenever. The plants are small,
however. Mine last year was in a 1 gal and it was about 1 ½ - 2 feet tall.

The largest plants for the money, that I know of is Womack Nursery in
DeLeon, Texas. They have Fuyu and Matsumoto WaseFuyu both non-astringent
varieties. The price for the large size 4-5 feet trees is $14.00 and they
will ship. They sell bare root trees from late Dec. to early March and it is
best if you want any quanity to contact them in advance. Contact:

I'm a new farmer in western north carolina looking for a commercial nursery
for oriental persimmons or scions to graft. Anyone know a good source?
Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell?
