A while ago I gave up trying to find anything via the archive's internal
search engine (like most such, it never worked.) Perhaps the gurus have
recently repaired it, and I should try again. The only thing to do is, when
you have some extra computer time, read past months in the archive. In
general the titles of postings have something to do their topic, and you can
work through it pretty fast.

HI, I'm new to this and want to search for info about apriums, pluots,
plums, and cherries for a small home orchard in central Illinois. I want to
know about pollination, hardiness, rootstocks, late blooming varieties. Etc.
I love fresh fruit and want to have the best chance of success with what I
buy. I don't want to spend money for something that will not produce in my
zone and climate.
