[NAFEX] persimmon grafting

Persimmon are as easy to graft as apples, getting 80% to 90% success all the 
time. 
I'd suggest you are grafting slightly ahead of the slip. Wait until new 
growth has activly begun with 2 to 3 inches of new growth. The bark will now be 
well into the slip.

Also make sure to match the cambiums. Vitally important. 

If bark grafting, cut off the rootstock entirely. Do not leave limbs as the 
understock will favor it's own limbs over the ones you take to it. Then as 
Lucky wrote rob off all new shoots on the understock about two weeks after 
grafting.

Persimmon are easy to graft!  Try again.
