[NAFEX] scionwood recommendation?

There are some exceptions, such as material that can be winter damaged and 
should be cut early Dec., .... 
But, I've always said the best place to store scion wood is on the tree. In 
this area, zone 5b that is late March. 

At bud swell is too late.
