But I strongly suspect that message with no text, just a link, is spam and quite possibly malware, and there's no way I'm going to click on it. If it's not, say whatever you want to say to the list in text. And hi, everybody, if you're still there! Grubs live in the soil and can do a number on lawns. Milky spore works over the long haul to keep them in check. Lure traps are worse than useless; you should buy some as presents for your neighbors. I expect it depends on what you grow and very likely also on local pressure. I agree that you ought to look into milky spore. I haven't used it myself, but from what I understand it's not a quick fix, but fairly effective in the long term. I think there are also beneficial nematodes, which may work faster but not last as long. Again, I haven't used any specific product myself; but in any case as you're dealing with living soil organisms different ones may work better in different areas. -- Rivka; Finger Lakes NY, Zone 6A now I think Fresh-market organic produce, small scale -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Wiped out a big rose bush; their second favorite was raspberries, but didn?t do much damage. They love grape vines, too. Took to the basil and green beans when they began to mature. I just brush them off into a tub of soapy water?it takes time. They say not to squish them as the pheromones that are released when you do attracts others.
