This will be my 6th year using McEnroe's potting mix for all of my
transplants and I have been very happy with the performance and consistency
of their product. I regularly recommend it to other growers and all have
been happy with it as well. Here in the Pioneer Valley, many of the
Organic farms are using McEnroe's products to produce transplants for field
and market. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is better than
anything else I have found in Western Mass (except maybe Vermont Compost).
There are a few weed seeds, maybe a couple/tray. It tends to have plenty
of nutrition and rarely needs fertilizer for most transplants unless they
are in very small cells.
