Do you have a favorite time to spray the silks or do you think any time after silk emergence works?

We're in KY. Ear worms can be a problem. But all you have to do is spray you silks with oil 1 or 2x duriing the growing season. That's eliminated 99% of the worms for us. And we use an organic oil since I'm Certified Naturally Grown.
