[Market-farming] Drip tape: Aqua-Traxx vs. T-tape

I have used Aquatrax for 4  years, I have always been happy with it.  My most recent order from Berryhill, I ordered Aquatrax, but they sent me John Deere T-Tape.  It felt a little stiffer, but it works well too.  I have used all kinds of fittings with the Aquatrax, they all work well.  Personally, I liked a brand that the screw pieces were orange. They were easy to see and easier to avoid.  I have also had black ones and blue ones.  The blue ones leaked the worse, if you didn't get them tightened correctly.

Does anybody know for sure if fittings for T-tape are compatible with Aquatrax? I have an opportunity to pick up some Aquatrax from a local grower who is going out of business. Not sure what fittings he has available, but I have a lot of T-tape fittings, as that's what we use in the fields.

Thanks in advance,

auctions though, almost never see the Aquatrax.  I don't know if that means
people like the aquatrax better and don't sell it off or that the T-tape is just
more popular to start with.  The people that claim a preference that I've
heard seem to be Aquatrax people  The worst I've used was a brand called
"Plano"   At any rate I think I'm going to go with the pressure
compensated type next time, I've noticed I don't get even distribution with the
regular in any brand.
