[Market-farming] sealing off drip tape

Knot(s) to you! I tie one, two, or three knots next to each other, each one-half inch before they break ;-)). I find that the tighter you can make the knot, without breaking, the less apt they are to leak. The thickness of the tape matters as well as how hot it is out when you tie the knot(s). The hotter it is, the softer the tape and the easier it is to make it tight and the thicker the tape the harder it is to make a tight knot. I've tried taping the ends and other widgets, but never was satisfied with any of them. For me, tying tight is as good as any method.

Cut a piece of the end about 2" long. Fold the end of the tape over twice,
about 1.5" each time. Then fold it in half the other way, lengthwise. Then
slip the cut-off piece of the tubing over the folded tape. It'll hold. Often
it won't leak at all.

I think I remember someone on this list describing a simple way to seal off
the open end
of a length of drip tape. I tried today to do so by folding the tape over
itself a couple
times, and holding it tight with electrical tape, but no luck. Any better
ideas?

thanks, Richard
