[Market-farming] Farmers Market question

There was talk of using the Court House lawn, but people who know didn't
think we would be allowed and we would not be allowed to use the adjacent
parking lot, so parking would still be a problem. There was also an idea of
the city/county buying property for community use (including the Farmers'
Market), but that never went anywhere, either. It would be nice if someone
(anyone) in local government took an interest in the Farmers' Market; a
good Farmers' Market would be an asset to this town. I feel that
everywhere I've looked, people have not been interested in the idea of a
Farmers' Market (even Cooperative Extension...refused to put my request
for vendors in their newsletter this year because it was "a business").
