John,

Nancy is talking about Culantro (Eryngium foetidum L., Apiaceae), not
Cilantro (Coriandrum sativum L.). They are two different plants.

Nancy, We here in the southwest eat a regular diet of cilantro in our

mexican and southwest cooking. It grows like a weed and we use the fresh

leaves. It is employed in european and oriental cooking under a different

name. coriander http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cilantro
