It varies.  Talking to Whole Foods about their markup and they said 30 to 50
percent.  If they think they can sell more at a lower price point, they will
do that sometimes.  All supermarkets are pretty much the same from what I
have seen.  Only the unscrupulous ones mark up the organic more than the
rest.  Hope this helps.

Just wondering if any of you have an idea how much the typical grocery store
marks up its produce from wholesale?  Any idea if organic produce is marked
up more than conventional?  Or if the markup on vegetables is different from
that on fruit?
