[Market-farming] was Buckwheat, now oats

Joyce,

Oats are a cool season annual that grow best when planted early spring
or late summer (to grow in the fall and then winter kill).  Oats like
6-10 weeks of cool weather for best performance.  That said, I don't
have experience or knowledge about growing oats for hay in the summer.
