sunblock

On the sunblock question...this year I picked up a "rub free spray". It
is Coppertone To GO, SPF 30. You just pump spray it on...feels kind of
like hairspray going on, but once it dries you can't tell it is on. It
is waterproof and it does dry very quickly, plus it is easy to take to
the garden with you to reapply if you are going to be there a while! So
far it has worked great!

Another alternative that I have not tried but was recommended by another
grower at our market is to apply olive oil? They say it is a natural
antioxidant and it will allow your skin to tan not burn...don't know if
it actually blocks sun and again...I haven't tried it.

Good luck making hay!
